How about a little Thursday portrait fun?

Mr. Kim is an architect in Boston and recently became a member of the State Board that screens architects for state projects. With that membership comes the need for a new portrait for the Board website. Enter Bob and his studio.
Admit it, you're jealous of the tie. I think it's awesome.

Moira and David's Wedding

After that Bat Mitzvah post I bet I've got you wondering what's coming next.

I don't? Oh.

Well, I promised a wedding and here it is. Potential Grooms I suggest you either leave the room or persuade your loved one not to keep reading. Reading this blog may be the equivalent of catching that bridal bouquet. And we all know that you would rather your loved one come home with a black eye than catch that bouquet. You've been warned.

And now for the beautiful Bride.

Of course you can't forget the Groom.

At the reception, the cutting of the cake starts out normally enough, and then turns into my favorite cake cutting event ever. The food toss.
See, weddings can be fun! I have no idea what happened to her dress and if it lived to see another day without frosting, but does it matter? Moira, I respect your nerve.

Haley Bat Mitzvah

I hope you're ready to party... No really, I am. I've told you that Bob is an amazing event photographer, but for the first time I get to show you. What I mean is this post starts out innocent enough, but by the end you will feel like turning up the music and throwing a big hoopla for all your family and friends. And when you do, you'll want it to be fun, and you'll want to remember it. A little like this.

Ready?

A few weeks ago, Bob had the pleasure of photographing Ms. Haley's Bat Mitzvah. Earlier in the week Bob met with the Bat Mitzvah girl and her family at their Temple for some beautiful and classy portraits.


That Saturday evening following the service... well, you know how it goes. Get that music ready.
Congratulations to Haley and her family! And please don't ever forget the silver top hats.

DC Travels

This past Easter Bob had the opportunity to check out the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. I of course am extremely jealous, but I'll try to keep my envious comments to a minimum. I mean it's not like the weather was goregous or the blossoms were in full bloom...Dripping sarcasm aside, the weather was beautiful and the blossoms were at their peak. In short the trip was a photographer's dream and Bob made the most of it. He even snuck in a few magnolia shots.
Maybe next year I'll make it to DC. Until next time... Stefanie over and out.

Interiors and Eye Candy

So now that I've gotten this blog started, Bob has fallen head over tea kettles for it. He loves it. Absolutely loves it. And to think that he called me crazy for wanting to set one up.

Now you see why I was willing to take all the blame.

Since Bob has become such a fan, he has decided to take the opportunity to play catch up. Today we have a series of photographs taken last fall of the McCall and Almy building in downtown Boston. These two photographs were taken for Commodore Builders on the 37th floor to showcase their plate glass work.Out the window to your right you can even see the Old Custom House. But if you're afraid of heights, you probably shouldn't look.

Now of course you remember that Bob does more than interiors. He's also an amazing portrait photographer. I give you Miss Susan, a professional hairstylist and practicing belly dancer. Susan recently decided to start teaching belly dancing and asked Bob to help her launch her web campaign. Long story short, here's some eye candy.

Ms. Lando

Ms. Lando contacted Bob a little while back looking for a simple but sophisticated portrait. Like most individuals, Ms. Lando wanted something personal to be subtly included in her photograph and brought along an abacus. Bob worked with Ms. Lando in the studio and together they created something that I think is stunning.
